MBBS (UN) M.Med (Radiology)(USM) Fellowship in Interventional Radiology (UGH,Taiwan)

Dr Tan received his secondary education at Chung Ling High School, Penang, Malaysia and attained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor or Surgery, MBBS at University of Malaya (UM), Kuala Lumpur in May 1999. He then obtained his Master in Medicine (Radiology) from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), in 2007.

He was a fellow in Interventional Radiology at Penang General Hospital from 2010-2011. He then proceeded to obtain a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Taipei Veteran General Hospital, Taipei, Taiwan in 2012.

Dr Tan served as a Radiologist at Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital, Kedah and Penang General Hospital before joining Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital. Dr Tan Boon Keat’s current interests are in Interventional Oncology and Tumour Ablation.
