MBBS (MMMC – Manipal University)

Dr Thilaka Batumalai, who hails from Butterworth, Penang, completed her high school at Maktab Rendah Sains Mara Muar, Johor. She loves to travel, and her passion is in helping people. This leads her to pursue her MBBS in Manipal University, India where she graduated in 2008.


In 2010, she completed her two year housemanship in Hospital Melaka. She was then transferred to Hospital Port Dickson where she served until 2012. Later, she continued serving for the community in primary care practice at Klinik Kesihatan Seremban 2 for a year. In March 2013, she joined private general practice. In the same year, she became a member of Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia (AFPM).


In mid-2018, she joined Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital as a Medical Officer, intensifying her desire to serve people in need.
