For 50 years, Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital has been sustained by a simple belief: that quality and compassionate cancer care should be available to those who need it, regardless of their financial circumstances, race or belief.
As a not-for-profit mission hospital, the support we receive from individuals, families, organisations and the wider community helps us continue caring for patients while remaining true to this Mission.
Donations to Mount Miriam help support the cost of cancer treatment, medication, medical equipment and other related care for patients who require financial assistance. They also help make fully funded hospice care available to terminally ill cancer patients.
The Impact of Your Support
In 2025, a total of RM2,925,391 was disbursed to support 82 patients receiving cancer treatment, while 38 patients received palliative and fully-funded hospice care.
As the cost of cancer treatment, medication and healthcare continues to place a burden on many patients and their families, community support helps Mount Miriam continue providing assistance to those facing financial difficulty.
Patients who require financial assistance are assessed separately by our Medical Social Welfare team.
How to Make a Donation
The simplest way to contribute is through Mount Miriam’s online donation platform.
Available payment options may include:

- Other available online payment methods
Donors may also have the option to make a one-time or recurring contribution, depending on the payment method selected.
Alternatively, cash donations may also be made in person at Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital during these operating hours:
Monday – Friday: 7:15 AM – 7:00 PM
Saturday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Sunday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Mount Miriam Donations Tax-Exempt Receipt
Donations to Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital are tax-exempt, subject to the required donor information being provided for the issuance of an official tax-exempt receipt.
For donations made through bank transfer, DuitNow, cheque or cash, donors should submit the required details after making their contribution.
For donations made through the online donation platform, the required donor information can be collected as part of the donation process.
Kindly give us around 3 to 4 weeks to issue the tax-exempt receipt. You will receive a scanned copy of the receipt in your email / message before the original receipt is mailed to your address.
