The “HO CHIAK” Charity Food & Fun Fair returns this June in conjunction with Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital’s 50th Anniversary, themed “Homecoming” — a celebration of coming together as one community through food, fun, and shared moments.

We look forward to welcoming the community to enjoy at least 70 stalls, offering a delightful selection of local favourites, international dishes, comforting home-cooked meals, as well as snacks and desserts to savour together.

Through this meaningful event, we aim to raise RM300,000 for our hospital to provide medical treatment and care subsidies for cancer patients, as well as to support end-of-life care for terminally ill cancer patients.

• The side gate is adjacent to a residential neighbourhood. We kindly ask that you do not block our neighbours’ entrances. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

• For parking, kindly proceed to College General.

• It will be closed for car entry as the food fair will be held at Mount Miriam Car Park

• Exceptions:

  • Vehicles with ‘loading pass’

  • NGO van (car park is limited. Only available on first-come, first-serve basis)

  • To drop off individuals who are with or may have mobility challenges, such as seniors or persons with disabilities (For non-wheel chair bound individuals, side entrance is the ideal drop-off point as the driver does not have to take a tight 3-point turn to come out from Mount Miriam Main Entrance)

No charges is required for the stall. The only humble request from us is that you donate 100% of the proceeds raised to Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital.

We hope that each stall can help to raise a minimum contribution of RM1,500.

If you can’t be there on the event day, sponsored food/dry goods can be passed to us to sell on behalf. There is no minimum sponsorship amount.

If you can’t make it for the event, you may consider buying the tickets and donating them to orphanages, old folks home or other NGOs. The donation can also be arranged on your behalf. This way, not only will you help us raise funds for the cancer patients, your kind donation will bring smiles to others too.
