H.U.G.S Charity Fun Run 2026 Returns This November

Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital will be bringing back the H.U.G.S Charity Fun Run 2026 on 15 November 2026, with a 6KM route starting from Straits Quay, Penang.

H.U.G.S stands for Hope, Understanding & Group Support, reflecting the event’s aim of bringing the community together in support of cancer patients in need. This year’s run is also held in conjunction with Skin Cancer Awareness.

Venue: Straits Quay, Penang

One of the highlights of this year’s route is the opportunity for participants to run across Andaman Bridge, offering a different way to experience the area during the early morning run.

Supporting Cancer Patients in Need

All proceeds from the H.U.G.S Charity Fun Run 2026 will go towards the Mount Miriam Compassionate Support Fund, which provides support to cancer patients in need.

Alongside its fundraising purpose, the event will also help raise awareness of skin cancer and encourage greater understanding of cancer prevention and early detection.

Groups of 20 participants and above are eligible for a special group registration rate. A manual registration Excel file can be requested from the organising team.
