Mount Miriam Endowment Fund
The heartbeat and mission of Mount Miriam Cancer Hospital is to serve all cancer patients with love, respect and compassion regardless of financial status, race or belief.
To ensure this mission continues for generations to come, we have established the Mount Miriam Endowment Fund, a long-term initiative created to provide sustainable and stable financial support for our patients and services.
In the past, financial assistance for patients has been made possible through donations and operational surplus available at the time. However, these funds can fluctuate due to economic uncertainties, rising healthcare costs and the growing needs of ageing equipments.
The Endowment Fund is introduced to strengthen this Mission.
Through this fund, donations are preserved and carefully managed, while the returns generated are used to support financially challenged patients, strengthen the continuity in our palliative services and support the continued growth of the hospital for the patients in need.
Every contribution to the Endowment Fund is not just a gift for today, but a lasting commitment that continues to make a difference year after year.
